Parents and other Community Members:

 

  • If you cannot physically join the effort, your monetary donation to assist our efforts in passing this replacement levy would be greatly appreciated. Mail checks to:

Our Treasurer, Greg Heath, will see that your contribution supports our efforts to maintain our community standards in the Puyallup School District.

  • When you get your ballot, send a blanket e-mail to your friends and family encouraging them to support our schools. Remind them this is not a new tax but actually a reduced financial committment to protect "our kids" futures.

 

  • Contact your neighborhood school and offer to help with phone calling, sign waving or community canvasing.  Each school will have days to promote an active community in this election.

 

  • Be an active advocate for our children with your neighbors, at church, on the sidelines at athletics and within your civic groups.

 

  • Become a facebook fan and invite your "friends" to join you.

 

  • Request or print signs for your yard, home or car.

 

Students:

 

  • When ballots arrive on Friday, January 22nd or Saturday, January 23rd send text blasts, twitter, or e-mail blasts to encourage friends to encourage their parents to support "our school" for "our kids".

 

  • Post your story on your "wall", what school opportunities shaped your experience that may be in jeopardy with active support for our replacement levy.

 

  • Keep the levy alive in your own home.  Talk to your parents and your grandparents about the things that may no longer be a part of your school experience next fall.

 

  • Offer to help your parents in supporting the activities for parents above.
